Hi, I’m Fei, a Chinese who has called Milan home for the past ten years. I love hiking, traveling around, sharing delicious food with friends, and listening to people’s stories.
Lately, after living 10 years abroad I’ve felt a growing desire to write things down. Sometimes it’s someone I’ve met, sometimes a thought that comes out of nowhere. Other times, the light is simply beautiful, and I want to keep a photograph.
That’s how the Moon Bug began.
The name came from a friend. I go by Selene, a name connected to the moon, and my Chinese name carries the meaning of flight. He brought the two ideas together: a little moon bug!
This is a place for glimpses of my life, thoughts in the moment, people who have crossed my path, and things I love. I write for my future self, and for you, if you happen to find your way here.
I’m still getting to know myself: what I enjoy, the life I want to build, and what I choose to give my time to. These pages will probably change as I do.
